Update on Copper Residences APPLICANT SUBMITS REVISED PLANSAfter months of community feedback, public meetings, media attention, and resident engagement, the applicant has now submitted its revised application package to the City of Phoenix.The revised proposal includes changes that the applicant says were made in response to concerns raised by Kierland residents, including modifications to density, building heights, setbacks, circulation, and project layout.The Kierland Community Alliance remains strongly opposed to the redevelopment of this open space. The fundamental issue has not changed: The proposal still seeks to convert existing golf course open space into residential development.The coalition team is currently reviewing the revised submission in detail and coordinating with experts to better understand potential impacts related to traffic, infrastructure, density, compatibility, and neighborhood character.So What Happens Next?The revised application will now continue through the City's review process before returning to the Paradise Valley Village Planning Committee for a future hearing and vote.At this time, we do not anticipate a hearing in June, though scheduling decisions remain with the City and can change. As soon as a hearing date is announced, we will notify the community immediately.The process continues.And so does our commitment to protecting Kierland.
